Born in May 1962 in Butte, Montana, to Linda and Robert "Evel" Knievel, Robbie is one of four Knievel siblings. He began jumping his bicycle at age 4 and moved to riding motorcycles at age 7.

At age 8 Robbie performed in his first show with his dad at Madison Square Garden. By age 12 he was on tour with Evel, always under his dad's direction. After a few years on tour Robbie wanted to continue to lengthen his jumps, but his father disapproved. It was at this point that Robbie went on his own and began to make a name for himself.
Since 1979 Robbie Knievel has been the world's foremost motorcycle daredevil.

To date, Robbie has successfully completed over 250 professional jumps, including 20 world records, highlighted by the Caesars Palace Fountain jump in 1989, the building-to-building jump in 1999 and the Grand Canyon in 2000.

Robbie is very comitted to the Harley, 16 Bus jump and has said he will jump in the London vacinity. We are in talks with many venues and will have some exciting news very soon!

Robbie, for the record has successfully completed every jump his father attempted with the exception of two: those being the bus-jumping record set by Evel at Wembley Stadium in 1975 and the Snake River Canyon jump in 1974. The bus jump is negotiations, and plans are also underway for the 2010 Snake River Canyon jump.
